Indigenous Pastors are being equipped for church planting through our own Bible Training Centers. Church planters are given not only a thorough understanding of the Word of God; but also how to apply it in reaching out to others with the gospel of Christ, and with follow-up discipleship. The duration of the training is 6 months residential and 3 months practical. On completion of training, 98% of these evangelist/church planters are sent back to work amongst their own people. This approach has proven to be very effective in the church planting process. Prayer and the Word of God remain foundational throughout.
The ministry provides a number of training programs to help mature emerging leaders who have a deep passion for the salvation of their own people. Short-term training programs are carried out for committed new believers. Around 500 a year attend these. There’s also an ongoing discipleship course for house church leaders. Currently we have about 250 participating, from different states. The course curriculum includes basic Bible doctrines, ministry skills, building Christian character, and field training. The Number of participants are increasing for each of these equipping programs. We also have leadership-training materials recorded in DVDs & VCDs. These are used in the churches to train small groups of dedicated believers in evangelism, disciple making, church planting, and spiritual warfare.
